Frequently asked questions.

What happens when you get in touch, and how classes work in the LMS.

Getting started

What happens after I send an enquiry?

Your enquiry is saved with a reference number, which you'll see on screen. A member of the Prose team reads it and replies by email.

Is an enrolment request a confirmed place?

Not yet. An enrolment request tells us which subjects and year level you're interested in. We then contact you to confirm classes, times and fees before anything is booked.

Can a parent or guardian enrol on a student's behalf?

Yes. Choose "I'm a parent or guardian" in the enrolment form and give the student's name. We'll contact you about the next steps.

Is the enrolment fee per subject?

Yes. The one-time $50 enrolment fee applies to each subject you enrol in, and the Summer Intensive counts on its own. For example, English and Physics would be $100 in enrolment fees, as would the Summer Intensive and English during the year.

Classes and the LMS

What is the Prose LMS?

It's Prose's learning website for enrolled students and staff. Your classes, lesson materials, assignments, feedback and timetable are there in one place.

How do I get into the LMS?

Once you're enrolled, Prose sends you an email to set up your account. After that, sign in at the LMS with your email address and password.

How do I hand in work and get feedback?

Assignments are submitted in the LMS, and you receive a receipt confirming your work arrived. When marking is finished and released, your mark, comments and any annotations on your work appear there too.

Can I open class materials after the course ends?

Each class sets how long its materials stay open, and the LMS shows the date beside each one, so you know how long you have.
