Advanced Seminars

Invite-only seminars for VCE English and Literature students.

The seminars

Advanced Seminars are for students aspiring to excellence. Here we foster the critical capacity to excel in the subject, and to think beyond what VCE considers Literary Studies. What does it mean to analyse a text? Why does it matter?

The seminars are a space where intellectual life can take root and grow. Students join a collective of like-minded peers who ponder the philosophical implications of literary study together, and who push each other's thinking further than any of them would go alone.
